Pigeon Netting for Balconies

Pigeons love balconies. They are sheltered, high up and often quiet during the day, which makes them ideal for roosting and nesting. Before long a balcony can be covered in droppings, feathers and nesting material, and the cooing starts early every morning.

Balcony bird netting closes off the open side of the balcony so pigeons cannot get in. JR Bird Management fits balcony netting on flats and apartments across Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey and South London.

How Balcony Netting Works

We fit strong, weatherproof netting across the opening of the balcony, fixed around the edge so it stays tight. You can still open your doors, sit outside and see the view through the net, but pigeons are kept out.

The netting is fixed neatly so it is discreet from inside and from the street, and we make sure there are no gaps at the edges for birds to squeeze through.

Cleaning Before the Netting Goes Up

If pigeons have already been using the balcony, we can clear the droppings and nesting material first, so it is clean and safe to use again once the netting is fitted. See our bird dropping removal service for more.

For Residents, Landlords and Managing Agents

We fit balcony netting for individual flat owners and tenants, and for landlords and managing agents looking after whole blocks. If you live in a flat, check your lease or ask your managing agent first, as the outside of the building is usually their responsibility.

On larger blocks, netting several balconies at once keeps the look consistent across the building and stops pigeons simply moving next door.
